About Amy Walker

Amy Walker was born in London in 1984 and studied music in Devon, England, where she developed both her song-writing and her interest in the physics of sound. She has recorded in an aircraft hangar and a mine, and her piano duet My Head Is A Piano called for the pianists to sit cross-legged under their pianos. Amy Walker lived in Paris for 10 years.

Unravel, Amy Walker’s first studio album, tells the story of the last decade of her life, from abandoning university in Michael And The South West Useless Brigade, to being paid less than her male counterpart in Filthy Little Shrew, to finding peace in Angels Come Down, and losing it again in She Did Tell You.
